Jaime Sturgeon
Proud owner of Mane Institute! Jaime has been in the industry since 2009. She was an instructor at Majestany Institute for almost 5 years. Trained in various haircare brands and still works behind the chair at her salon Mane Studio. Passion for teaching has led to becoming the owner of Mane Institute and hopes to continue the legacy of the previous owner Susan Dean and grow even further!
What is your favourite part of teaching?
"Truly seeing the difference between day one and their final day! So much growth happens practically and professionally!"
Michelle Bustard-Managing Director
Ms. Bustard is our Managing Director at Mane Institute. Michelle came to us with many years of salon management experience and can guide students to their dream positions as she was our lead Hairstyling instructor for 15 years! Michelle is extremely strong in color, foiling and new techniques. She manages all things here at Mane and keeps everything running smoothly. Her dedication to preparing the students for their future in the Cosmetology world is unmeasueable. Making sure they are prepared for leaving here and being successful in whatever path they choose!
Carrie Bradley- Aesthetics Instuctor
Ms. Bradley has been in the industry since 2012, Graduating from Majestany Saint John. Over the years she has continued to expand her education and training in areas such as advanced foot care techniques, skin care, makeup, lash artistry, microblading and medical aesthetics. She truly loves this industry and brings a positive, encouraging energy to the classroom. She takes great pride in creating a supportive learning environment where students feel excited to grow! With her upbeat personality, industry experience and genuine love for teaching, she is committed to helping each student become the professional the can be.
What is your favorite part about teaching?
"Watching my students grow confidence-especially those moments when something finally 'clicks' and a student realizes they are capable of more than they thought. Them becoming more passionate as they learn, build their skills, ad begin to see themselves as professionals in the industry!"
Pammy Pringle-Admissions Advisor/Aesthetics Instructor
Ms. Pringle is an experienced Aesthetician and Aesthetics Instructor, now serving as Admissions Advisor! Starting her career behind the treatment table, Pammy developed a deep understanding of skincare, client care, and the business of beauty. That passion led her into education, where she has trained many of the next generation of aestheticians. Now in Admissions, Pammy combines her industry knowledge and teaching experience to guide prospective students toward the program that fits their goals. She is known for her commitment to student success from first inquiry to graduation.

Shannon Taplin- Aesthetics Instructor
Ms. Taplin joined our team after 6 years experience in the industry. Combining both past experience as a supervisor and her passion in the industry makes Shannon an amazing Instructor. Shannon has extensive training in many areas such as Dermalogica, Make Up Forever, CND, Babe Lash extensions, Medical Aesthetics, and of course AVEDA.
Julie Beers-Aesthetics
Ms. Beers has been in the industry since 2019. Her specialities are pedicures, teeth whitening and skin care services. She has upgraded many skills since graduating including tooth gems and dermaplaning. Continuing to take many courses.
What is your favourite part of teaching?
"My favorite part about teaching Aesthetics is watching them become more confident within themselves and be proud of how far they've come-and being able to share real world industry knowledge with them for their future careers in the industry!"
Robin Warford- Aesthetics Instructor
Ms. Robin has been in the industry since 2005 graduating from Medes College and began her career with Lancôme Cosmetics, where her passion for makeup and skincare developed! in 2009n completed her first last training with Misencil and continued expanding her skills with various leading companies over the years. She owns and operates her own business in Oromocto, Illusions of Beauty & Wellness since 2012. She is PhiBrows-certified in microblading, certified in permanent makeup, as well in laser hair removal where she has trained under the best here in Fredericton!
Today, I love balancing my business and helping shape future beauty professionals and sharing my passion for this ever-evolving industry filled with endless opportunites.
What is your favorite part about teaching?

Erin Savoie-Hairstyling Instructor
Ms. Savoie has been in the industry since 2018, graduating from Majestany Institute. Favourite services are lived in blondes and dimensional brunettes. Certified in Babe tape-in extensions, and has taken additional courses on both blonding and perms. She has been a licensed Hair Instructor since 2024.
What is your favourite part about teaching?
"Seeing the students understand it and show me how its done. Going over formulas because I can see where their brain is at- and that is why I love Aveda"
Alisha Leighton-Hairstyling Instructor
Ms. Leighton has been in the industry since 2001. She has taken many courses to upgrade her skills in various product lines. She loves haircutting, specifically bobs as well as perming! She even owned her own salon here in Fredericton. She bring years of experience, positive energy and the most encouragement to the students!
What is your favourite part of teaching?
"Watching their confidence grow as they develop their skills. The moment it finally clicks and they realize they can do it"
Maddy Magee-Hairstyling Instructor
Ms. Magee has been in the industry for over a decade. She loves doing blonding services, head massages and the perfect blowout! She's taken many upgrading classes over the years to set her up greatly for this role in educating the future professionals of this industry. With a positive attitude and a lot of encouragement she will helps create a successful classroom!
